Hi
I have a Camray 5 boiler, 5 years old, which switches itself on irrespective of the electronic programmer settings EP2001. I actually took the programmer off the wall lat night and the boiler still fired up. Beneath the hot water tank are 3 valves. 2 honeywell valves , silver box type and a bigger grundfos one. Both the honeywell valves vibrate when either the CH or Hot water is swithched on at the programmer, so I assume they're working( What are the wee levers for on the valves) There was also a small leak before the HW valve, a loose connection which I tightened. Is the problem the programmer or a valve or something else. If you've not already guessed I'm a complete novice at this.
Thanks

one of your silver boxes is forked.

err.is boiler outside?

No It's in the kitchen. If the silver box is F'd as you say could I fix it myself. I live in a very rural area and getting a plumber is a nightmare.
Thanks

well, you need to know which one, im assuming they are honeywell and have a raised bump on top of box.

anyway if you can understand this ,the wiring diagram, then youll be able to work out which wire to diconnect at wiring centre to isolate faulty valve.

if not "ship it out" :p
