oil fired CH..pump problem?

Hi fellpony! It's difficult to know what you mean when you say not working at all.
Are you saying the motor and pump don't turn, or do they turn but there's no oil coming from nozzle.
Or are you saying there's no ignition.
Regarding the pump, is it an exact replacement? Are you aware of the bye pass plug that has to be fitted or omitted depending on 1 or 2 pipe sytem. Has the new pump got a solinoid and maybe the old pump has not.
If so the wiring in the control box needs changing. Have you bled the air from the pump.

Have you got the knowledge to set up the combustion correctly? Have you set the pump pressure? Have you set the air? Have you bled the oil line? Whats your system (in detail)? You had a leaking pump which you replaced, the burner now doesn't work. This is all you have told us. Unfortunately we don't posess supernatural powers (well not many anyway). Either give some more information or ask John Prescott, he's got supernatural powers.
