I have fitted 9 internal pine doors and wish to keep the integrity/beauty of the wood on show.
Wishing to protect them from the daily grinds of life I need to choose between applying varnish, oil or wax. I do not want the colour to change (appreciate they will darken slightly with most treatments) or for the wood to darken too much.
I came across Polyvine clear wax finish varnish - has anyone used this and what does the finish look like? Has anyone used oils, clear varnish or a wax on pine doors and what is the finish like?
Appreciate any thoughts/advice and in particular any direct experiences
