Hi All, in my airing cupboard in the bathroom I've got an old chimney that goes up into the loft and obviously out the roof. The chimney seems to stop in the airing cupboard as there is nothing in the kitchen below.
The chimney comes out the wall about a foot and half and looks like it's pinned into the brickwork the way it's built. I'm in an old 1930s terraced house.
My question is with it being pinned into the wall can I just remove the bricks in the airing cupboard so I can square the bathroom off or would I have to put some kind of support up in the loft?
