Could someone help me.
We’ve had a single story extension built on the back of our lounge and had the external wall knocked through to make one large room. This has revealed the old external wall cavity which is a couple of foot deep
My build just suggested floor boarding over the gap. I was thinking that I should put some damp proof in the cavity, back fill with concrete, lay some insulation over the concrete and then floor board over.
What would you suggest?
