Complete novice with anything to do with plumbing. All advice will be gratefully received. Have an old monobloc mixer tap in the kitchen which was fitted about 1997. Been fine until the last few months when the flow rate slowed. Initially the flow rate slowed but if you left it for a few seconds it would allow you to open the tap further and the flow increased considerably. It has now stopped. The central shaft is also very stiff when you try to swivel the next. I have no idea of the make. I would like to have a go myself before getting the plumber out. I have uploaded a photo of the tap.
