Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help a dolt like me.
Last year our Drayton digitstat +3 RF gave up the ghost. Dead, no screen no matter how many fresh batteries in, no connection to the boiler, etc.
I thought sod it, not ideal, I'll just switch to the manual timer clock over the winter instead (the thing with the little cogs you push out/in). This has now stopped working too.
So, I ordered a replacement off eBay.
I think it paired. I used the thermostat to put in 3 X preset heating times (as I used to with my old one)
I think the right heating setting on the boiler (off, on, or 'the clock') is supposed to be 'ON' and then the heating is supposed to kick in at the times I requested (or before but only if the temperature in the room is lower than the minimum temperature on the thermostat).
Is this correct, as Instead the heating seems to be on 24/7??
If I manually turn the temperature down on the thermometer to below a certain temperature, the heating does go off, but only for a few minutes and then it all kicks back in again.
I think I'm doing something wrong, I just don't know what.
Thanks in advance for any help
