I'm glad to see the mods are now taking an active interest in some of the content being posted, but where were you when shifty22 was trolling everything i posted, and being abusive with it?
I know you can't be everywhere all the time, but there are posters on here whose activities jeapordize the whole forum. shame on them.

why not do what i did and click on the alert mod button, and get treated like scum by some of this forum's finest....

I don't mind doing that, it's what the button is for.
I'd rather see intelligent/amusing/entertaining posts than view some of the garbage that our 'finest' submit.

you had a little dig... but nothing compared to some of the idiots on here.

This place has become like the wild west, and the mods are reacting to that rather than maintaining a sense of respect day-to-day.

What makes you think that you are some kind of cyber policeman? Aren't snitches scum? They were when I were a kid. If you don't like a thread ignore it.

Some people on here post intelligent/thought provoking posts that a lot of us enjoy debating/discussing etc but there are others who turn these posts into personal attacks on the OP or anyone that replies who's views oppose theirs. This scenario usually takes place when religeon/racism/royalty etc is the topic for discussion.
In cases like this if the 'mods' don't pick it up then the button is there to alert them to what is going on. Its not snitching/policing its using the facilities for what they are provided for, a discussion board where no-one needs to feel afraid to post their view without being 'cyber-bullied'.

too right. theres two posters on this forum at the moment who post on my threads as soon as they go up, not to engage in the debate but merely to make personal attacks on me or make snide, insulting remarks, and with no effort or intention of engaging in debate. Ill click the report to mod button every time.

no, i think you're scum.. look at the post previous to yours... you obvious have the mods on ignore... this, in my opinion, should be a respectful environment. Not governed by the biggest egos.

"aren't snitches scum" maybe at the kind of level you deal in... but i'm above that... and i won't be bullied off of this site by the likes of you.

yep i've got 'geraint'.. who likes to 'p!ss on my parade'. so to speak..... no idea why ... unless he's sussed out who i am, and maybe i sh@gged his bird at a bus stop one Friday night?

Interesting to see the different responses here. My main thought is that I don't own the site, there are rules, and it is a public forum, not a spit and sawdust. Why do some think that they can say/do whatever they want? That's just childish and selfish. There must be plenty of sites where people can post racist/bullying/antagonistic/intimidating/offensive/abusive remarks, but the rules of this site say that is not the case on here. It's simple.

If I find an intersting thread, (which is quite often I must say), I, hopefully, post a responsible and possibly thought proving answer. If I can't find anything to post in reply I just follow the thread.
Too many times have I seen a thread disintergrate into a 'personal' slanging match which ultimately destroys the original topic.
I don't consider myself a snitch,grass, stooly or anything else. Above everything the thread should remain to focus on the original topic under discussion and if I see it turning into a slanging match then I will press the 'Alert Mods' button.
I don't care who is doing it, friend or foe.
