Ive tried calling the tech guy at onduline but I'm still waiting for a return call so I'll ask here.
I want to install these panels on a 5 degree 4m x 3.6m pent roof. I'll board with 18mm OSB and cover with breathable membrane. I've seen that I need a 300mm overlap and two corrugations with 30 fixings per board and the verge detail I can either overhang the board (I forget the distance), buy verge strips or just bend over the board and nail it to the verge board. I'm also aware that the lower eaves need 7cm into the gutter.
How do I detail the upper eaves? I've seen examples where there is nothing at all so what stops the rain? Surely not the foam inserts? Or do I buy the ridge or even more verge strips and nail over the fascia boards? Would I tape up the corners where the fascia meets the verge boards?
Onduline have a great video showing different installations but not for a pent roof.
What are the options?
Also, do I need ventilation if I'm going to insulate under the OSB?
