Is is just me that doesn't see them easily or have 1G Two-way rocker switches simply doubled up and replaced (if necessary) the regular 1G One-way switches? And if the 1G 2-way can be used as both a 1-way AND 2-way, how does one connect the cables. Please advise.

Never bother buying 1-way switches - 2-ways will do the same job, and can be upgraded if you need to in the future. Or if you keep spares, can be used for whatever application you need.

You could make the same arguments for always buying intermediate switches, but they're not available in as many multiple gangs, and not necessarily in the manufacturer or style range you've chosen.

why don't you post your picture in the for reference topic (as well as here). when you have i will remove these comments

thing with the idea of always buying intermediates is that they are far more expensive

tlcs prices for MK one gang (ex vat)

1 way £1.09
2 way £1.34
intermediate £5.60
