I've got a minor roof leak between two rafters, which I've been unable to find by lifting tiles alone.
I need to open a section of membrane from above, lift out the slabs of celotex (plasterboarded on the inside which I don't really want to touch) and track down the leak.
If I was to remove all tiles above the space I'm working on, then cut the membrane straight down the middle between the rafters, could I then put another strip in underneath when I close the original membrane up?
I'd really rather not take off all the tiles and battens...
Any tips very much appreciated!
