Normally when i try and open a jpeg to view it, it was automatically done by windows. I recently installed a new version of acrobat and now it is automatically trying to open everything i want to view. In most cases it wont open it. How do i revert back to the windows viewer to do it?

The usual way to set a default program to open a file is:
Right click on the file name (if in a list) or icon if in Thumbnail view.
Click on 'Open With':
Click Choose a program:
select which program you want to open it with and tick the box 'Always use this program to open this type of file'
Click OK.
That should reset your default actions if a program that you have installed tried to take over the postition of default.
