Opinion - Deck screws

Just about to lay a 3m x 3m deck and wondered if anyone had an opinion on SPAX screws or please suggest an alternative.

you will need around 360 screws
how thick is the decking those are only good for about 1" thick!!

I think it is 38mm at the thickest point so not much more than an inch in the trough.

22mm is not enough you need 2.25- 2.5x wood thickness idealy minimum 2x 80mm-90

These are excellent screws - read the review (not mine BTW). They drive easily (serrated threads) and have held our decking (38mm boards) for two years so far with no failures.
