my parents have an optima xm that is 22 years old and used every day but I would like to know the battery size as it will need a replacement as the current one is from September 2001

2.1 / 2.8/ 7.0 will all fit depending on the cable routing inside.. Bigger the better..that's as long as it's not burnt out the battery charging resistor...

thanks for the reply I will be changing the battery today as thet are going to be having a meter change on Tuesday
