Hi,looking for advice on my optima xm6.
when its NOT armed and we're in it keeps going off,warm weather makes it worse,we can be sitting watching tv and suddenly.. peep peep peep..til we enter the code. Then the tamper light is on,tried leaving it with tamper lit up and tried reset,all of which is working ok but doesn't stop it going off for no reason,like i say even when not armed...driving us mad

There is not an alarm system on the planet that 'goes off for no reason', it's just a matter of understanding.

You have a Tamper problem.

As this is showing up quite regularly it should be quite easy for an alarm engineer to trace. This type of problem is quite often the outside sounder, ie corroded joint, case flexing in the heat etc.
