Hi all,
we are about to buy a bungalow which has a wooden extension on the back. The bungalow was built in 1927, the extension was added in the 80s and appears to be of a wooden frame with wood cladding on it. (Basically its the same as a dorma but on the floor)

We would like to extend on part of the original extension, but are worried by building regs, we are not sure if the whole thing will need to be knocked down in order to add to it.

Also, I worry the value of the bungalow is effected by the wooden extension, so are there options to brick up the exterior to make it look better or any other options to make the outside look more conventional without having to start all over again?
thanks for any help
Phil
