Hi all

I’ve got a fireplace that currently has a gas supply with a flueless stove in. Chimney is not lined.

The stove needs replacing so am wondering which is the easiest option to go down.

Considering putting an open fire in here but it’s quite a large opening so am just wondering how this would work and what style i’d be looking at etc.

Thoughts welcomed.

Thanks.

No way I’d go for an open fire.....a quality multi fuel stove, twinwall lined chimney with register plate for me.
If you can choose a stove which draws its combustion air from outside so much the better. (If possible - if we are looking at an external wall).
