Order of fitting window board

currently having an extension built, what is the order on having window boards fitted, what i mean is, are the windows(upvc) fitted first and then window boards butted up to these, followed by plaster board or is it window boards fitted first followed by windows and then plaster board, i intend to do some of the extension work myself and i thought this was one job i could tackle.
