Wouldn't hurt to have it looked at, unless it is better already. A broken ankle hurts less than a sprain (strange but true!!)

(and mine still gives me gyp 8 years after the event)

Make the most of it!

Think of all of us in a stress job while you're relaxing, I know where I rather be :)

Why would you want to sue a female solicitor?

(I know, very drole, but that's the first things that came to mind when I read that   )

1) Phone Claims Direct. If their advert is to be believed, you can fall off a ladder in a way that is entirely your own stupid fault, and get compo.

2) Write to the ODPM saying that this is just one more example of why the use of ladders should be restricted to qualified people, and how a new Part for the Building Regulations should be introduced requiring the use of a ladder to be notifiable to LABC. In 1999 28,000 people were killed or injured in falls from ladders or steps in the home, and it is time that the Government did something to stop this dreadful level of casualties.

3) Make random "seagull" posts on other fora, e.g. Screwfix

Sorry to hear masona. If I had known I wouldn't have made this little joke

I'm on 10 x 30/500 co-codamol a day
I guess your doctor knows what he's doing, but that's 25% over the maximum daily dose of Paracetamol - are they keeping a close eye on your liver?

Yes, I'm not happy about it, my doctor and the consultants are fully aware of it and monitor me closely with regular blood tests. I'm going in on Wednesday for the 3rd attemp for the nerve block injections under the scan & x-ray. Hopefully I should come off the drugs. I'm also on 150mg dothipen which used to treat for anti-depressent but not use for that anymore as they found it works better for people with nerve pain as it feed the chemicals back into the nerve cells (this is what I've been told), since I been on these tablets, it seem to be working. It all started when they operated to drain the enlarge cysts inside my kidney and it went wrong causing the nerve injury problem.
