Outbuilding Lighting

I posted a topic regarding my outbuilding/office and had a question regarding the lighting.

There will be 6 LED spot lights in the ceiling in 3 rows of 2. The rows can either be set up in parallel or in series.

I remember at school parallel lights running off of a battery shone less brightly, would this also be the case if they are run via mains electricity?

Yes.

You would not wire them in series (for no specific reason).
