Hey guys,
This is my first post on here so i'm sorry for any daft questions!
I'm planning on building an outdoor fireplace, very like the one in the link:
http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=mo...&w=350&h=302&ei=-ITpT5WxB4bk8QOiibDsDQ&zoom=1
I was planning on building it out of breeze block and lining the furnace with fire/red bricks. How could I do the roof of the furnace that is strong enough to take the weight of the flue?
Can I use a former or is this method too weak? what about concrete lintle's? will they withstand the heating and cooling over a period of time?
Thanks for any help possible
Ash
