Just wondering if these lights would be ok to put in the fascia above a small varandah on a summerhouse shining down on the decking or not?

Do you want a decorative effect on the fascia, or do you want the deck illuminated?

BTW - the Argos website is down, so can't comment right now on whether they could be installed in the fascia.

None of those are suitable for mounting on fascias...

it really depends on what the end result you are lookig for is, hence my comment the ones you linked to wont shine much

Doesn't matter how much they shine - if you mount them on a fascia they will be shining sideways, not downwards.....

Now that their website is up I can see that the same applies to the Argos ones.
