The previous owners of our house have built a set of steps from what appears to be brick and dirt. Unfortunately they weren't well built and have started to fall apart.
I was going to rebuild them from heavy duty breeze blocks and paving slabs because we've got some lay about in the garage (https://www.travisperkins.co.uk/Solid-Dense-7-3N-Concrete-Block-Grey-100mm/p/700064) but wasn't sure that was any good for outside? Do they need sealing once built?
