Hi, I have moved into a new home and replace the hose and all connections but the outdoor tap is still leaking lots- it’s coming out of the top as though it can’t cope with the pressure.

The green pipe is going to a reel

Can anyone advise what might be the problem?

Just to clarify. Tap works fine without the green piece of hose… does that mean it’s the green hose that needs replacing?

Ah, right. Probably the 'O' ring on the connector that needs replacing. Get a new connector or a repair kit that will contain enough bits to repair several connectors.

Maybe clarify where it’s leaking from? The “top” is not a location.

If its coming from underneath the Tee handle of the tap it just needs the gland nipping up a bit. The nut that is sitting on the shaft.
