Outer Casing on boiler too hot to touch??

I have a Worcester 24i boiler and over the past few days the outer casing is too hot to touch? I have had the boiler serviced and was told that it is running extemely efficiently. Do I need to get it checked out??? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're worried, get it checked. Never take a chance with a gas appliance.

I'm not a boiler engineer or a gas bloke but we have a Worcester boiler and the case that hot I would definetly call someone in to look at it.

Had that problem a few years ago, and the insulation inside the case had come lose; best to get it checked.

Thanks for the general advice. I’ve been in touch with the person who serviced it to call and take a look!
