I've looked at the sticky for wiring diagrams and cannot find anything that reflects what I have.

I've just moved into a new place and need to replace and outside light that had been removed and the wires just taped up. I don't know what to connect to what. Any help would be very much appreciated...I don't want to set the place alight within my first week in!

WIRES COMING OUT OF THE WALL:
I have six wires all feeding into 4-part terminal block all of which are used:-

1) 2x RED (Joined)
2) 2x YELLOW/GREEN (Joined)
3) 1x BLACK
4) 1x BLACK with red sheath.

WIRES ON MY LIGHT - the usual suspects
1x Earth
1x Neutral
1x Live

Can anyone help?

Many thanks!!!!

Black with red sleeve = Live
Black = Neutral
Yellow/green = Earth

2 reds = connect together in a separate connector block (known as the permanent live)

Make sure you isolate the supply fully at the mains first.

Apart from the earth to the switch (which the article says is omitted for clarity), and the lack of red sleeving (which the article also discusses) that does reflect what you have, and it's in the first drawing in the first article of the Wiki chapter on lighting.
