hi all! Hoping for some urgent advice. Single mum here trying to replace all of the outside lights today. Managed all bar one. All of them up until now have had straight forward one set of wires however the one I’m now stuck on has 2 sets of green, brown and blue wires from the house cable. I thought I’d solved it with some 2 wire hole connectors but it’s still not working! Any advice welcome as this is driving me mad now and I do not want it to defeat me!! Please see attached photo…!

Have you pushed the flex in far enough? The blue doesn't look in very well, sometimes it can bend back and not go in properly.

Press the button then push in and release rather than just push.

What, exactly, was at that location before.

Did you, by some remote chance, think to take a photo before disconnecting the cables?

Yep it’s exactly as it was but I replaced the connectors as the previous ones weren’t reusable….. I took Pete01s advice and have pushed them all in harder and it bloody works!!!! I’m thrilled and so proud. Thank you everyone for taking your time to help X
