No matter what type of hosepipe & connections l buy l have more water p.....g out of the connection than going through the pipe
The problems are not with the actual tap/ connections but with the ones that push fit into the tap connector, the water just spurts out and l have to resort to watering the garden by watering can

On the part that connects to the tap, 'is there a washer in it?'.
On the part that connects to the hose, ensure the hose is pushed well home, then tighten.
The cheap Hozelock alternatives aren't very good.

You can buy 'o' ring kits from the like of B&Q if the leak is inside the fitting, but if the fitting is getting scratched or worn its time for renewal.

What about a picture of your own tap?
The one in the picture will never leak as there appears to be no water going to it. i.e. it's an advertising mock up.
