hi

We have a Belling CHIM110S and the motor sounds like it’s on its last legs.
It certainly isn’t extracting anymore and sounds very rattly.

A replacement motor looks to be in the region of £200+. Is it worth it? Or should I replace the whole hood?

Also do I need to buy a Belling motor or does a ‘generic’ motor/fan exist?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Forgot to say it’s very old. Pre when we bought the house and it looks like it’s from the 70s or 80s inside which might explain why replacement parts are so hard to come across or expensive!
