Oven Light & Fan Query

Hi

Recently, both the internal light and fan of the electric oven in the flat I own stopped working simultaneously.

The heating element, digital display and spark-lighters for the gas hobs still work fine.

Are these two elements likely to be on a separate circuit or have their own fuse or something, or is it more likely that both fan motor and lightbulb break at the same time by fluke?

Any advice appreciated.

What type model of cooker is it?
They could be electrically connected in some way that could cause both to fail, hard to say without testing but I would try replacing the oven lamp first.

You'll probably get a more informed viewing there. On the Electrics forum we only care about fuses and wires and stuff. Those big boxes on the end of our wires are, well, big boxes.
