Is this yet another architect with yet another lame brain idea just trying to put himself on the map I wonder? (I've met a few of them in my career)

If it was to be built just imagine how slowly the thing would have to rotate to stop people inside from falling over or feeling travel sick etc.
And imagine how difficult would it be to repair the turbines between each floor when they start going wrong.

Clever idea in theory but I dont think it'll take off. Looks good in the video though
 
On the subject of very tall buildings in general:

Has any architect ever considered building one in the shape of a tripod? More specifically, it would have three legs, each one being half of a parabola, all meeting at the top at 120° to each other. :) :) :)

Consider the advantages of such a structure. It would be very much stronger than a single tower of the same height and, in the event of a fire in one of the legs, everybody could escape down the other two. :cool: :cool: :cool: And finally ---

It would be unique! :D :D :D
