I wear the white bib and brace overalls,,, have done for years. I always have two pairs on the go. I get one pair washed when the wife moans about how dirty they are,, then use the other pair the same. They're probably washed once a year,,,,, each!!!

Roughcaster.

Dickies overalls - I'm an office monkey now, but when out on sites I couldn't fault them, probably washed as often as roughcasters, it's not worth the aggro strolling onto a site in your nice clean overalls.

I've got a red boiler suit that i wear when i help my dad or my granda. Also i have my own high-viz jacket aswell.

youngroughcaster ;) ;)

I think its good to promote the image of a firm - in any way.
Which looks better - corporate rig with safety boots, or a track suit bottom clad oik with trainers?
John :)

not overalls.. but where i used to work we got 3 pairs of trousers that they washed for us in rotation.. ( 1 on, 1 in the dirty bin, 1 out being washed )
they also provided us with 3 new logo embroidered polo shirts every year ( which usually lasted about 3 years before becoming ripped and unwearable, so you had 9 on the go.. )
and 2 jumpers..

the company before that gave us boiler suits and did the same cleaning thing..

if you don't like boiler suits then trousers and a decent logo'd polo shirt is a clean look....

Well I can answer the first option...

I've got a couple of pairs of Dickies trousers - the built in kneepads are jolly useful, and they're more practical than jeans.

Years ago, when I used to do my own car maintenance I wore an RAF surplus flying suit, and would always recommend some kind of one-piece outfit for that sort of work, so you can lie down etc without anything coming untucked.
