I recently noticed some water having dripped from one of the overflow pipes in the roof - there are 2 overflow pipes and I don't know which one is dripping cos it is infrequent and slow - I just saw little bit water on the garden ground. I got BG Homecare so I called an engineer. He checked and said the big water tank in the loft has high level of water so he changed the ball valve.

Now a few hours after he left, I still saw a bit water on the ground. Suppose the big water tank is ok, would it be possible that the overflow is from the small (expansion?) tank? If I call BG again, how do I make sure they fix the problem this time?

Many thanks for any reply.

tell him in stead of being in such a rush you can stay till you sort it.
it's not that hard to tell if a ball valves passing or not.

check the tanks see what ones near the overflow and if the waters warm/hot.
