The drain which services our bath only and kitchen was blocked and overflowed. This could of been for around three to four months. The drain is at the side and half way along the property.
I have successfully unblocked it but I am concerned with the amount of water that has gone into the ground. I live in a detached bungalow built in the mid 50’s south east of Kent and near the coast. The soil is chalky. There are absolutely no signs of subsidence but wonder if any issues could arise. Fingers crossed I am just being over cautious and if not if there is anything I can do in the mean time. Please see photos and thanks for any advice.

More water will have gone into the ground every time it rained and likewise the next time it rained. Stop worrying.

OP,
off page - but there are four pipes discharging into a "gulley surround" - and there's a gulley head covered by a tortoise?
i can't tell whats what but maybe the discharge water is/or was washing under the surround?
the way things are will allow rats to access your garden.
can you remove the odd bits of covering and any surrounding grass/plants and rubble, and photo the context, & whats there looking down into the gulley?

whats the circular can like thing to the right of the surround?

No gulley head, just a slab on soil with the tortoise. Only one gulley servicing the four pipes. That one gulley was blocked deeper down but retrieved the blockage luckily the water runs freely down now. Here are some more pics.

It'll soon dry out, at this time of the year there should be sufficient precipitation to wash the worst of the residue away, (Warmer months and it may hum!) Keep an eye on it, any further overflows obviously require further investigation.

thanks for the new pics.
but whats needed is if you will remove the slab, and expose what's possibly a salt glaze , Back Inlet Gulley? if its not a back inlet gulley then where is the water from the rear pipes going?
why? because its possibly only a hopper head - not a back inlet gulley - with no trap below - i dont see any water?
why? because the back pipes discharge water might be going anywhere?

the back pipes are mortared in to something?
one of the the front pipes is going into the grating opening? but there's no grating. the other, the condensate pipe, is discharging where?
the pipes should be discharging into a grating over the gulley.

there should be no problem clearing blockages given the man hole about 3m away.
have you recently looked down the manhole?
