Happy new year all!

Currently trying to resolve a leaky toilet cistern means water keep trickling down the pan

Taking the lid off, I can see that the water is going through the overflow pipe.

I just can’t work out what / how to adjust. Pictures attached. Note that there is a small blue switch under the left hand side top part - goes vertically up and down in 3 different positions.

Cheers

Have you done any work recently, or is this a new install? Agree with Andrew regarding the float valve, but yours appear s to be touching the cistern which might affect it’s operation.

The lever tabs sitting in the slots on the top of the float pulls towards the valve body, adjusting the float down activating the valve sooner. As suggested though it may be easier replacing the valve.
