overheating combi boiler

We've a 2 and a half years old Potterton Performa 24 combi boiler. We've had no trouble with it until yesterday, when, even on a low temperature rating it was overheating the radiators. The dial had no effect on turning the heating down.

Help please?

are you sure the knob is turning the pot on pcb

when you say it was overheating the rad's , do you mean it is having to be reset because it is overheating
