20 amp radial on a 40 amp submain. B40 feeding 10mm.
No RCDs anywhere.
On this 20 amp circuit:
Large chest freezer.
Small chest freezer.
Large commercial upright fridge x 2.
Double glass door beer fridge.
3 tier ice cream freezer.
All the above on 2xdouble sockets.
One 2kw heater.
CCTV DVR and 2x monitor.
satellite radio reciever and PA amp.
various IT network equipment (maybe 100 watts worth).
kettle, microwave, toaster, mini oven, domestic fridge.
So, overloaded???
It tripped the other day (first time in years actually), but it took the B40 at the source too, causing the lights also on the submain to go too. Think one of the fridges went a bit mad. The spark that came to reset it said if it were up to him, he would separate the fridges from the rest of the kit.
The submain also has seperate circuits for lights (7x twin 5ft), 2xwater heaters and 4xhigh pressure sodium floods outside.
No RCDs anywhere.
