P trap waste

Hi

Seem to have a leak from my sink p-trap (blue seal as the screw keeps loosening itself after a few days).
usual hardware stores seem to sell the p-traps without the threads, mine has the threads on the trap under the blue seal.




the sc10 mcalpine which I bought

looks like it expecting threads on the pipe to attach itself to.




is there some type of converter i can buy to attach the new mcalpine to my pipe? (40mm pipe)

You need an adjustable inlet trap https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-adjustable-inlet-tubular-p-trap-white-40mm/46577

The leak will return if the pipes under the sink are knocked when taking stuff out, that may have happened in your case.

Replacement seals are available if yours is damaged.

sorry forgot to add the pic it also has a dishwasher connected to upper part.. only need the one waste connector anyway.

as its adjustable with the waste connector for dishwasher, thats the only one they seem to sell.

no parallel washer, just the blue one

ok i found this one, instead of the above, and its adjustable with only one connection.. WM15 will grab this one, everyone around me out of stock for today...

hopefully this will reach to the grey piping above and can sort out better fixture rather then what has been done...
