Hi,

We've just removed layers of wallpaper and stripped the walls to bare plaster. Only problem is they're quite bumpy and have imperfections, cracks, scratches etc.

I filled and sanded as much as I could then lined woth 1000 grade paper. I can still see minor bumps that are annoying me and purchased some Polycell Base Coat as I think this may help smooth imperfections.

It's quite thick though and I was wondering if this is best to put on the lining, then 2 coats of emulsion to finish.

Thanks in advance :)

It wont work...stick to emulsion, you will be wasting your money.

Give it a thinned coat and then have a look, you can always fill it after, basecoat doesnt work miracles..its only for very small inperfections apparently.
