Paint for repairing cracks

Hi

Could anyone please tell me if firstly the paint for repairing hairline cracks actually works and if so which is the best

I have never used it, but I have heard, that when you come to paint over it using your ordinary emulsion they have problems.

Its ****...goes on like glue and leaves a texture behind like mini artex..

Your better off filling them

And if filling doesn't work, its good old Lining paper!
