paint overspray removal

hi, ive had new sills fitted on my m reg escort
the body shop that done them has put grey anti chip undercoat on them.
and over spray has gone on black dash and trim
any advice on removal welcome
also when ignition is now on the air bag dash light glows dim all the time
but does not shine bright when ignition first turned on as it should
ive looked for any loose earths etc.
they say it was like that to start with [ it wasnt ] and dont want to know
help/advice please . regards. r.r

Take it back and get them to sort it, there should not be any over spray, if not happy get trading standards in, or at least threaten it, might make them try a bit harder.

all i can think of regarding the air bag light is the connections under the seats

hi, update on paint overspray and air bag light on dim when ignition on.
my son took it back and told them he would report them to trading standards and get them involed and also put it in the local evening paper as to how they left a pensioner [ myself ] with an unsafe car [ air bag light ] and paint on trim etc.
he said after a few words they said they would clean paint off but were not admiting to air bag light but would take a look
it was wires under seat as you sugested

Glad you got it sorted and thanks for posting back, it's always nice to see a good result. Why some people cannot do a proper job in the first place is beyond me, but i guess that's the world we live in.
