Does anyone know the best way of painting a strairwell that goes round a corner (the stairs completely come back on themselves to get the the 1st floor)? Ive just moved into a new house and the hall is a really horrible colour, so we want to change it asap, however have no idea how to reach the high parts - its not really possible to use 2 ladders and a plank as the stairs are going right round the corner theres not a large enough base on each stair to balence the feet of the ladders......
Ive contacted a tool hire place and they said they dont have anything to offer ...... and ive looked into these ladders that bend in all sorts of directions, but i dont think that will work either.
Im sure we can manage using rollers / paint brushes on poles etc but that doesnt necessarily get a good finish or a neat line round the ceiling.
Any advice anyone?
many thanks, Liz

Got exactly the same problem, probably a scaffold job.

Really awkward, as we need to strip and plaster ours.

The best way is to use an airless spray pole-gun. You will probably want to hire the airless sprayer. Some hire shops have pole-guns. If you get a modular one, you can screw extra lengths together usually 1 metre at a time.
