Painting a wicker chair

I have a good quality wicker chair(lloyd loom) which was at some stage painted black. I want to change to white. Has anybody got a tip or two how best to do it. Is it possible to get someone with the right gear to spray it, for example, and what does one look for in the Yellow pages. If there is no such service how best to do it myself ? Ideas would be welcome.
