Is there any way of painting the dado rail easily without using a ladder?Sponsored Links
If your going to paint the ceiling above the stairwell i would suggest that you get a ladder that will sit on your stairs and lean backwards to the bulkhead wall. You can then run a plank from this to a pair of steps at the top of the stairs. Dado rails are only ever waist height, so unless your a very short person, you shouldnt need a ladder. I think you might mean the picture rail which comes down from the ceiling about 20 inches or so.
