Against my better instincts I bought a "solid wood door" over the internet during lockdown which turned out to e engineered wood. Its the 1930s sunburst design with the glass between the woode sun rays"
It came ready primed and the advice is to use a solvent based top coat. Advice which I find a bit dated as most paints are now water based and the door will be to the kitchen.
The colour I want is Farrow and Ball Sudbury Yellow which I have in exterior eggshell.
My toshing instincts say go ahead with what I have and save some money but the other half of me cannot decide whether to do that, buy interior eggshell or look for a oil based interior eggshell of similar colour ? I am confused
