I Built a wall last autumn, its a standard free standing wall 4ft high with 6ft piers.
The wall is 9 inch, piers 18, constructed of 3.5N blocks and rendered with a scratch coat and float coat/sponge finish.
The wall has shown real signs of rising damp which has left some salt tide marks about a foot up from the ground in places.
I injected a DPC which has mostly solved it but there are still a few dampish areas low down after persistant rain. I want to paint it but was wondering what would be best? Are there any proprietry products to use in this situation which will be better than standard breathable masonary paint?
Cheers
