painting lead flashing

hi can i paint lead flashing on my roof my house is rendered and will be repainted from top to bottom and was thinking about blending flashing in with house colour any advice would be great thanks

Personally I think it looks a bit naff if its the same colour..but it doesnt have to be black like a lot of places..dark grey can look good.

Just make sure its clean and give it a couple f coats of gloss
