I have an mdf mirror that I would like to paint an off white colour leaving a natural finish(not shiny). It is for a bathroom so I would like wipe clean finish. Any ideas appreciated.
Hi LyndaS and welcome. Depends how the mdf is currently finished. If it is bare, you will need to prime it first - you should really use a proper mdf primer. If it already has a finish on it, you may need to rub it down before priming.
Then it's upto you. I would recomend an oil based top coat, like satinwood. Don't forget to paint the back, and if possible also remove the mirror and do around the edges. MDF swells with moisture, so anything you can do to help seal it, the better.
Hope this help, Woody
