Hi folks - I'm looking to paint several old but sound ally frames on the side and rear of our house, and hoping to get a reasonable (ie from a distance...) match to some new golden oak UPVC frames that I've got on the front of the property. I've bought some Zinsser primer from Dulux, and they tell me they can accurately match the UPVC colour with tinted Weathershield. Any tips please on 1) Surface preparation, and 2) any trick to get a sort of mock grain effect once I've used the Weathershield?
