Hi everyone,

I have put up some normal plasterboard on the ceiling of my bathroom.

Once i have filled In the joints I am painting this plasterboard.

Please can some advise what I need to do in order to make it resistant to moisture?

Do I just need to apply 2 coats a 3:1 ratio of water:pVA, before painting?

Thanks.

I'm not a painter, but i certainly wouldn't use pva before painting. Others will tell you the best way forward.

Just use a bathroom paint.

Do I not need to prime, or tank the board before? Bare in mind it's just a standard board, in bathroom. Or does the bathroom paint simply act as a primer and paint in one? Thanks
